Martyrs of North Gaza.. The occupation kills Palestinians and prevents the retrieval of their bodies

The Israeli ground military operation continues in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded, in addition to destroying dozens of homes, forcing thousands to flee and arresting others.
When Israeli warplanes bombed a residential area in the town of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, last Sunday morning, the Abu Shadaq family found no one to rescue them or retrieve the martyrs and wounded from under the rubble of the house that was destroyed, along with a number of neighboring houses, by missiles, as the civil defense and rescue crews and the ambulance service completely stopped working in the northern area of the Strip.
There are no functioning hospitals in the North Gaza Governorate, in light of the repeated Israeli threats to medical staff, the storming of Kamal Adwan Hospital and the destruction of parts of it, the repeated targeting of the Indonesian Hospital and its control by the occupation forces, in conjunction with the repeated targeting of civil defense staff during the past four weeks, despite the presence of hundreds of homes crowded with residents who repeatedly move from one house to another in search of safety.
The residents currently do not find anyone to provide them with medical services or to rescue them if they are hit by Israeli shelling, whether by artillery or by warplanes and drones, which forces them to help each other in rescue efforts with simple tools to rescue some of the martyrs and survivors, while many remain under the rubble, and to treat the wounded using carts pulled by animals.
However, many of the injured who could be saved medically are martyred as a result of being left for hours without any medical crews, civil defense, or citizens being able to reach them, which has led to the martyrdom of dozens during the past period in the northern Gaza Strip.
Targeting the health system
In parallel with the scarcity of medical staff and the health system being out of service due to the Israeli genocide, the people of the north are living a tragic reality, in light of the continued Israeli army operations that include repeated arrests and forcing residents to move towards the western areas of Gaza City.
During the past few days, the Israeli occupation committed several massacres targeting the families of Abu Shadaq, Al-Masry, Al-Kahlout, Ghabayen and others. In these massacres, the occupation aircraft bombed residential areas, killing dozens of martyrs, and the bodies remained under the rubble without being recovered. The total number of martyrs in the northern governorate is approaching one thousand in less than one month.
The Israeli ground occupation operation began in Jabalia refugee camp, then expanded to include Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun and the western areas. The occupation army is besieging the shelters after bombing the surrounding areas, then it gathers the women and children away from the men, and directs them to flee the area by force, while the detained young men and women are transferred to interrogation centers.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed Kamal Adwan Hospital and arrested most of the medical staff, including the hospital director, Dr. Hussam Abu Safiyeh, who was later released. Meanwhile, the occupation soldiers killed his son while he was in the vicinity of the hospital. The hospital was also severely damaged as a result of the bombing and burning that affected the surrounding area.
The occupation army had previously confirmed that its ground operation was targeting Hamas's "military infrastructure" in the northern Gaza Strip, and that it was not implementing the "generals' plan" that had been promoted in the media for months.
Since October 5, the Israeli occupation has been deliberately making areas in the northern Gaza Strip uninhabitable, by bombing and destroying homes and blowing up residential areas, in addition to burning all the belongings of the displaced and refugees in the shelters, in an attempt to force the Palestinians to move south, or leave the Strip as part of the larger displacement plan, while at the same time continuing to work on expanding what it calls the “buffer zone.”
