Gaza: The death toll from the genocide rises to 43,020 martyrs, and the occupation arrests 600 people from Jabalia and the northern Gaza Strip

On the 388th day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the Ministry of Health in the Strip announced that the death toll from the Israeli genocide had risen to 43,020 martyrs, while the Israeli army radio reported the arrest of about 600 people from the Jabalia camp and the northern Gaza Strip after a bloody day yesterday in which 53 were martyred.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said today that the occupation committed 5 massacres in the Strip, resulting in 96 martyrs and 277 wounded arriving at hospitals within 48 hours, confirming that the number of victims of the aggression has risen to 43,020 martyrs and 101,110 wounded since October 7, 2023.

Medical sources told Al Jazeera that 32 Palestinians were killed in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip since this morning, 15 of them in the northern Gaza Strip.

Regarding the situation in the northern Gaza Strip, the Ministry stated that there is only one pediatrician left in Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, after the Israeli occupation arrested and deported all the medical staff in the hospital.

The Ministry appealed to international institutions to quickly send surgical medical teams to the hospital, and asked those with surgical skills to join Kamal Adwan Hospital to save as many wounded and sick people as possible.

In another context, the Israeli occupation army, on Monday, "partially" reduced its forces in the town and camp of Jabalia, 24 days after launching an operation of genocide, comprehensive destruction and forced displacement in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army radio said that the latter is reducing its forces in Jabalia, as the 460th Brigade left the area, while the "Givati" and "401" brigades continue to operate there, adding: "About 600 people were arrested, and the Jabalia refugee camp was almost completely evacuated, as about 50,000 residents were evacuated."

On Saturday, Israeli army forces withdrew from the hospital, leaving behind Palestinian dead and widespread destruction inside and outside.

With American support, Israel has been waging a genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 143,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end them immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
