Gaza.. 3 new massacres and raids on different areas and Al-Qassam detonates a minefield with an Israeli force

The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported today, Sunday, that the Israeli occupation committed 3 massacres, resulting in 71 martyrs and 112 wounded people arriving at hospitals within 24 hours, while the Qassam Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) - announced that it had detonated a minefield with an Israeli force in Gaza City.

The ministry explained that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression has risen to 40,405 martyrs and 93,468 wounded since October 7, while medical sources reported to Al Jazeera that 28 Palestinians were killed as a result of Israeli raids on various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn today.

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported that a number of Palestinians were killed and others were injured in an Israeli bombardment that targeted a residential apartment near the Al-Oyoun intersection, west of Gaza City, as part of scattered Israeli bombardment and raids on areas in the Strip.

Today, Anadolu Agency published photos of the bodies of Palestinian martyrs, as a result of the Israeli attack on a building on Al-Jalaa Street. The bodies were then transferred to the Baptist Hospital before being buried in Gaza City.

This comes as Israeli forces have withdrawn to a limited extent from areas southeast of Deir al-Balah city in the central Gaza Strip, while carrying out operations to blow up dozens of homes in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

Resistance operations

Today, the Al-Qassam Brigades announced that its fighters were able to "detonate a minefield prepared in advance in a Zionist armored force, and the helicopters landed to evacuate the dead and wounded."

Al-Qassam added that it managed to snipe an Israeli soldier in the vicinity of the university college south of the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in Gaza City, while the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, said that it bombed the Abu Matbiq military site east of the Maghazi camp with a number of mortar shells.

Yesterday, Saturday, Al Jazeera broadcast exclusive footage it obtained of the battles between Al Qassam and the occupation army in the Tel Al Sultan area, west of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

The scenes show the battalions’ elements raiding an Israeli force entrenched in Kamal Adwan School in Rafah, firing an anti-fortification TPG shell, then engaging the force with machine guns from zero distance, killing and wounding them.

The battalions' elements monitored the presence and movement of the soldiers to position themselves inside the school, then fired a "TPG" shell at them, in addition to scenes of clashes with machine guns with those who remained of them, resulting in casualties and injuries.

The Al-Qassam Brigades announced yesterday that it had "managed to kill and wound a number of Israeli occupation army soldiers during fierce clashes on the new incursion axis east of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip," while the Israeli army acknowledged the killing of 3 soldiers in battles in the central Gaza Strip.

The resistance continues to confront the occupation army on several fronts, as part of its ongoing war on Gaza since October 7, leaving tens of thousands of civilian martyrs and wounded amid a humanitarian situation described as catastrophic and a worsening famine looming over the besieged Strip.
