Morocco: Marches and a national day denouncing the assassination of Haniyeh and in solidarity with Gaza

This comes at a time when dozens of Moroccan cities took part in demonstrations and marches yesterday evening, Wednesday, in protest against the assassination of Haniyeh and in rejection of the continuing Israeli crimes against the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October, demanding the abolition of normalization.

Hundreds of activists gathered in a popular protest in front of the Moroccan Parliament headquarters in the capital, Rabat, yesterday evening, Wednesday, at the invitation of the “National Action Group for Palestine” and the “Moroccan Front to Support Palestine and Against Normalization.” Meanwhile, many Moroccan cities, including Casablanca, Agadir, Oujda, Berkane, Meknes, Taza, and Guersif, witnessed, on Wednesday evening, protests to demand an end to the Zionist massacres, to denounce the assassination of Haniyeh, and to demand the abolition of normalization, called for by the “Moroccan Authority for Supporting the Nation’s Issues.”

Moroccans have been participating in solidarity activities with Gaza on an almost daily basis since October 7, the most prominent of which was the million-man march organized last October 15 in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
