The Governor of the Central Bank issues a decision to suspend the licenses of 7 exchange facilities

On Wednesday, Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Ahmed Aghlab, issued a decision to suspend the licenses of 7 violating exchange establishments.

The decision, which was published on the Central Bank’s website, decided to suspend the licenses of: “Al-Nasseri Exchange, Al-Arabi Express Exchange, Al-Hadath - Hawala Agent, and Al-Saeed Express Exchange Facility.”

The decision also included, “Basmat Express Exchange Facility, Windows of the World Exchange Facility, and Daoud Al-Amiri Exchange Facility.”

He explained that the decision came “based on the violations proven in the field investigation report submitted by the Banking Supervision Sector.”

Last week, the Central Bank in the temporary capital, Aden, issued a decision to suspend the licenses of three violating exchange facilities.
