The Israeli occupation launches the largest bombing on Lebanon and claims to target Hashem Safi al-Din
The southern suburb of Beirut was subjected to Israeli bombing, which was described as more massive than the strike that assassinated Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. The occupation claimed that it targeted Hashem Safieddine, the potential successor to Hezbollah leadership.
