Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tariq Saleh, met today, Sunday, with the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, at the headquarters of the Joint Forces Command in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, while the Houthi militias conducted maneuvers in the city of Hodeidah, on the Red Sea coast in western Yemen.

According to the Yemeni News Agency "Saba", Saleh's meeting with Salman reviewed issues of common interest, and discussed coordination and continuous support from the Arab coalition countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, to achieve the desired goals and aspirations to support the Yemeni government.

The member of the Leadership Council expressed his "deep appreciation for the continuous support provided by our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Yemeni people," stressing that this support contributes greatly to strengthening the steadfastness of the Yemenis in the face of the challenges ahead.

For his part, Lieutenant General Al-Salman affirmed the Arab coalition's commitment to supporting legitimacy, noting that the coalition will continue to provide all necessary forms of support to the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership until the desired peace and stability are achieved.

The agency indicated that the meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Hodeidah Axis, Commander of the First Tihama Brigade, Brigadier General Farouk Al-Khawlani, and Commander of the Ninth Giants Brigade, Brigadier General Yahya Wahish, without further details.

Meanwhile, the terrorist Houthi militias announced today, Sunday, that they had carried out military maneuvers on the Red Sea coast, after weeks of mobilizing and transferring large reinforcements from the governorates of Al-Jawf, Dhamar, Sana'a and Ibb towards the governorate of Hodeidah in the past weeks.

The Houthi version of Saba News Agency reported that the militias "carried out a series of tactical military maneuvers on the West Coast, which included a simulation of confronting large-scale offensive operations launched by hostile forces through 4 virtual offensive waves on Yemeni territory, with the full participation of hostile ships and naval warships."

The militias' movements in Hodeidah indicate Houthi fears of launching a military operation to liberate Hodeidah and its ports, especially in light of regional developments, in addition to the American and British air strikes targeting the militia in response to its attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
