On Wednesday, the Republic of Yemen expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the extremists in the Israeli occupation government storming the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and imposing restrictions on the entry of worshipers.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), "This represents a blatant violation of international law and international resolutions, and a deliberate provocation of the feelings of Muslims in all countries of the world."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community to assume its responsibilities in protecting the holy sites and stopping the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Yesterday, Tuesday, the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the Minister of the Negev and Galilee, Yitzhak Wasserlauf, stormed Al-Aqsa, along with the head of the administration of the so-called "Temple Mount", Rabbi Shimshon Elboim, and a member of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, Amit Halevy, from the "Likud" party led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, "2,250 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Since 2003, the Israeli police have unilaterally allowed settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque despite repeated protests from the Islamic Waqf Department.
Today's storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque coincides with the continuation of the war waged by Israel with American support since October 7 on the Gaza Strip, which has left more than 132,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst massive destruction and deadly famine.
