Yemen and Qatar sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fields of justice and law

A memorandum of understanding was signed in the capital, Doha, today, Wednesday, between Yemen and Qatar for cooperation in the judicial and legal fields, within the framework of the official visit of Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak.
The memorandum was signed on the Yemeni side by Minister of Education Tariq Al-Akbari, on behalf of the Minister of Justice, and on the Qatari side by Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim Al-Mohannadi.
The Yemeni News Agency "Saba" said that the memorandum aims to enhance and expand the horizons of joint cooperation between Yemen and Qatar in judicial, legal and training affairs, exchange of expertise and information, and organizing scientific meetings and seminars related to judicial, legal and training affairs.
The Memorandum of Understanding also aims to enhance cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of the two countries in the areas of exchanging various judicial and legal experiences and expertise, as well as enhancing cooperation between the two ministries in the field of documentation, and exchanging expertise and best practices in the legal professions, and various judicial procedures and services.
Following the signing, Minister Al-Akbari expressed his happiness at signing the agreement, which aims to strengthen the distinguished relationship between the two brotherly countries, stressing that this agreement, within the framework of the official visit of the Prime Minister, is a culmination of the mutual keenness to find additional areas for joint cooperation between the two countries.
In turn, the Qatari Minister of Justice stressed the keenness to support joint relations between the two countries in the judicial and legal fields, noting the bilateral relations between Qatar and Yemen in various fields.
