The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (MASAM) project to clear Yemeni lands of mines removed 895 mines during the first week of November 2024, which were planted by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime.
The center explained in a statement published by the government's Saba news agency that the removed mines included two anti-personnel mines, 26 anti-tank mines, 865 unexploded ordnance, and two explosive devices.
This brings the number of mines removed since the beginning of the MASAM project to 468,962 mines, which were randomly planted in various governorates, claiming more innocent victims, including children, women and the elderly.
