The Goat's Life and Its Deadly Messages

Goat's Life is the film that dealt a damaging blow to the new Saudi era, even though it practically left its closed life and opened up to the world and largely reformed the immigration system.

This heartbreaking film, cruelly made from an even crueler true story, has its deepest wound in the identity of its hero, Najeeb, whose name suggests he is a Muslim. Meanwhile, the hard-hearted, rough-tempered Bedouin man continues to vent his hatred and cruelty on this unlawful newcomer from the Indian subcontinent, never thinking for a moment about the sacred bond they share.

Unfortunately, the previous immigration system in Saudi Arabia has established a highly discriminatory dictionary against those coming to work in oil-rich Saudi Arabia, which has needed, over the past decades, experienced people and an expatriate workforce, in an exchange of benefits that should have established a beautiful legacy of coexistence and allowed the assimilation of thousands of those who were born and raised in the Kingdom and have known nothing else, as good citizens.

Arabs, including Saudi Arabia’s closest neighbors, the Yemenis and Omanis, were subjected to discrimination based on regional identity in the 1970s by some, simply because they came from areas on the other side of the border. However, that does not negate the fact that the dominant characteristic was coexistence, brotherhood, and respect, due to the authentic legacy of Arab values that reside in the conscience and soul of the Saudi people.

I don't think this film was made out of a creative conviction in the essence of the story, the strength of the script, and the nobility of the message.

It was made within a plan supervised by a joint room of an unmistakable alliance. America, Israel and India, a dangerous ideological trio founded on the idea of targeting Islam and targeting the heart of Islam, despite all the generous positions issued by Riyadh at the height of the mass killing practiced by the Zionist entity against the sons of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and the increasing persecution of Muslims in India, by extremist Hindu groups supporting the Indian Prime Minister.

The aim of this film is to further blackmail, contain and tame the new Saudi Arabia, and push it to engage clearly and publicly in reshaping a new reality for the region, God knows what its final features are, but on the path to implementing this plan there is an insistence on striking at the spirit and faith of the nation.

Saudi Arabia, like the UAE, rushed remarkably into the arms of the extremist Hindu nationalist Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the UAE paved the way for the Hindu religion to appear in its most splendid material manifestations and, in return, suppressed all manifestations of Islamic religiosity and adherence to its framework.

Saudi Arabia is intended to move more deeply and quickly in this direction and to abandon the pillars of its existence, presence and influence in the Islamic world and in the world in general, and by that I mean the Two Holy Mosques and other holy sites, to which the Islamic nation makes pilgrimage from every deep valley, in addition to being the cradle of revelation, and in its soil lie tens of thousands of companions of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, who conveyed to us this true religion.
