On the twenty-sixth anniversary, the debates stop, the grudges end, the dynasties are shackled, and Taiz stands on its feet with the pride of a giant and the strength of a revolutionary, dyed with the colors of the flag, crowned with the glories of the republic, protected by the awareness of its sons, their longing for dignity, their suckling of pride, and their chants that teach the world the alphabet of struggle.

The Yemenis had clear fingerprints in Islamic history and an active presence in the capital of the Umayyad and Abbasid Islamic Caliphates, until the course of the Caliphate deviated and the entity of authority disintegrated, so the countries disintegrated and political and religious orientations multiplied, eating away at the geography of the peninsula, and Yemen was one of the victims of fragmentation.

The militia practices its crimes in underground cellars as it does above ground, even with the Yemenis who have joined Houthis and identified with them. It is better to confront them in open space than to suffocate in cellars.

The new generation of the Yemeni people has picked up on the signs of the Houthis’ weakness and inability to govern, and the Houthis’ intense efforts to overthrow the September Republic from its contents and values, especially the values of justice, equality, democracy and the republic.

The September Revolution was not born at the moment. It was preceded by signs that almost overthrew the Imamate in Yemen in 1948. The revolutionaries wanted it to be a constitutional Imamate, after they despaired of change at the hands of Imam Yahya and his successor Imam Ahmad, but it was unable to withstand and survive.
