Includes aircraft components.. Britain announces it will suspend 30 arms export licenses to Israel

British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced that London will suspend 30 out of 350 arms export licenses to Israel, including equipment used in the current war on the Gaza Strip.
Lammy told the House of Commons on Monday that the licences included components for fighter jets, helicopters and drones, noting that his country's assessment meant it was unable to conclude that some arms exports to Israel posed a real risk of being used in violation of humanitarian law.
He stressed that the suspension of arms export licenses to Israel will not include components of the F-35 aircraft, stressing that the suspension of licenses will not affect Israel's security.
In the same context, Lamy said that Britain still supports Israel's right to defend itself under international law.
"Let me leave this House (the House of Commons) with the assurance that the United Kingdom continues to support Israel's right to defend itself in accordance with international law," Lammy added.
