Conference leader warns of danger of upcoming escalation in Yemen that is being ignored

The leader of the General People's Congress and former Foreign Minister Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi warned of the danger of an upcoming escalation in Yemen that is being ignored.

He pointed out in a tweet on the "X" platform that the UN envoy's recent briefing reflected a high degree of frustration that warns of the danger of an upcoming escalation that is being ignored.

Al-Qarbi added that this upcoming escalation will be "awaiting the outcome of the US presidential elections, in addition to the Gaza war," according to him.

Al-Qarbi's warnings came in light of the continued Houthi movements in the Red Sea, Israeli threats to respond, as well as its escalation on a number of battlefronts, and the failure of international efforts to reach a permanent peace in the country.
