The Israeli occupation army announced today, Sunday, that a missile launched from Yemen fell in an open area east of Tel Aviv, in central Israel (occupied Palestine).
The spokesman for the occupation army said in a statement on Twitter that a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen fell in an open area in the center of the country, without causing any injuries.
The spokesman for the occupation army indicated in another tweet that the sounds of explosions heard in several areas were the result of interceptor missiles.
#Urgent The missile was launched from Yemen. The explosions heard in the last few minutes were caused by interception missiles. The outcome of the interception operation is still under investigation.

Later, the occupation army said in a brief post on "X": "There is no change in the instructions of the Home Front Command," indicating that no emergency steps were taken, such as calling for people to head to shelters.
Circulating clips showed smoke rising and fires raging at the site of the missile's fall.

No party has yet claimed responsibility for the missile attack, which coincided with the fall of another missile in the Upper Galilee.
Last July, an Israeli was killed and others were injured when a Houthi drone fell on a building in Tel Aviv. The occupation army responded to the attack at the time with violent shelling targeting the port and electricity of Hodeidah, which led to significant material damage and the killing and wounding of dozens. Subsequently, the Iranian-backed militia threatened to respond to the Israeli attack.
