Fire breaks out in Sayoun Olympic Stadium in Hadramout
One person died and two others were injured on Saturday evening, when a fuel tank exploded near the Sayoun Olympic Stadium in Hadhramaut Governorate, eastern Yemen.
Local sources said, "A worker was welding an electric generator, which led to a fire and the explosion of a diesel tank."
The sources added that the incident resulted in the immediate death of the worker, the charring of his body, the injury of two others, the burning of a car and two houses, and suffocation among the residents of the neighborhood.
Activists on social media circulated a video showing flames and firefighting teams putting out the fire.
