Issam Al Kathiri as Secretary-General.. Hadhramaut National Council announces the names of its General Secretariat

The formation of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Hadhramaut National Council was announced in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the appointment of Issam Habrish Al-Kathiri as Secretary-General, Abdullah bin Ajaj as Chairman of the Council’s Board of Elders, and assistants in the coast, plateau, valley, and desert.

This came during the conclusion of the regular meeting of the Council's Presidency, following extensive discussions and debates that took place during the past few days to complete the organizational structure of the Council to enable it to perform its duties as a political carrier that expresses the aspirations of the people of Hadhramaut.

The decision also stipulated the appointment of Dr. Rafat Salem Basarih as Assistant Secretary-General for Coast and Plateau Affairs, and Jumaan Saeed bin Saad as Assistant Secretary-General for Valley and Desert Affairs.

In the same context, the Secretary-General of the Council announced Resolution No. (1) appointing the heads of departments in the Council as follows:
1- Salem Anis Abdel Aziz, Head of Organizational Management
2- Ali Mabkhout Belabid as head of the political administration
3- Eng. Awad Ahmed Bin Hamel, Head of Social Administration and Civil Society Organizations
4- Eng. Omar Obaid Baarmah, Head of Economic Administration
5- Eng. Abdulkhaleq Abdullah Al-Hadar, Head of the Department of Research, Studies and Decision Support
6- Abdulaziz Nasser Shaiban, Head of Financial Administration
7- Ghassan Salem Abdoun, Head of the Media and Public Relations Department
8- Saleh Obaid Al-Jabri, Head of the Youth and Women Department
9- Dr. Abdul Qader Ali Baaisi, Head of the Department of Culture and Popular Heritage
10- Dr. Omar Saleh Bawazir, Head of the Legal Department
11- Colonel Saleh Nasser Basmir, Head of the Security and Military Administration

The statement issued at the conclusion of the periodic meeting of the Presidency of the Hadhramaut National Council stressed the importance of the Council as a political carrier of the aspirations and ambitions of the people of Hadhramaut, on the path to contributing to the sincere efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to unify ranks and give priority to the approach of dialogue to resolve all differences.

It is noteworthy that the council was announced in November of last year as the sole representative of the governorate in various issues.
