Today, Monday, a Houthi gunman brutally killed his ex-wife and her parents in a town in Hodeidah Governorate (western Yemen).
Local sources told "Yemen Shabab Net" that a Houthi gunman called "Abdullah Ismail Sanjri" killed his ex-wife, her mother, and her father (Ahmed Muhammad Yahya Dahib) in the village of "Al-Faridiliyah" in the Bajil District, east of Hodeidah.
The sources added that the Houthi gunman, who was under the influence of narcotic substances, went to the home of his wife's family, whom he had divorced two days before, and killed her, along with her father and mother, "slaughtering" them with a cleaver, before shooting them dead.
The sources indicated that the Houthi gunman fled after his horrific crime, amid great condemnation from the people.
Areas controlled by the Houthi militia are witnessing an increase in domestic violence crimes committed by leaders and members of the Houthi militia. According to human rights reports, hundreds of civilians were killed and injured during the years of war at the hands of their relatives among the Houthi leaders and members. It is likely that these crimes are the result of the sectarian attacks they receive in the country. Courses held by the Houthi militias, in addition to their use of narcotic substances.
