Gaza Interior Ministry arrests those involved.. The occupation exploits people's suffering to collect information about the resistance

An official in the Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip revealed on Wednesday evening that the security services had arrested a number of people involved in cooperation and communication with the Israeli occupation during the war, confirming that they were under investigation.

The security official added in a statement to Al Jazeera that the Israeli occupation forces intensified what he described as attempts to bring down citizens in the spying to collect information about the resistance.

He pointed out that a number of those who were contacted by the occupation were threatened with bombing their homes and killing their families if they did not cooperate with the occupation forces.

The security official pointed out that the occupation is impersonating relief organizations to collect information and blackmail citizens in light of the famine and difficult humanitarian conditions.

He stressed that the security services "are confronting the occupation intelligence and its methods of trapping citizens into collaboration," calling on citizens in the various areas of the Strip to be wary of the occupation's methods and deception.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, leaving more than 132,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing.

Israel continues this war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
