Atletico Madrid beat Valencia 3-0, Barcelona continue to shine with Flick

Atletico Madrid defeated its guest Valencia by three goals, while Barcelona continues to shine with German coach Flick, with a big win over Girona by four goals. These are the most prominent results of Sunday's matches, in the fifth round of the Spanish League.

Atletico Madrid achieved its second consecutive victory this season, beating its guest Valencia 3-0 on Sunday evening in the fifth round of the Spanish Football League.

Atletico's goals came through Englishman Conor Gallagher (39), Frenchman Antoine Griezmann (54), and the new arrival from Manchester City, Argentine substitute striker Julian Alvarez (90+4).

Atletico, who beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 in the previous round, maintained their unbeaten record this season.

Celta Vigo, who are in fifth place with 9 points, achieved their first victory after two consecutive losses against Villarreal 3-4 and Osasuna 2-3 in the last two stages, and the third this season.

In turn, Athletic Bilbao regained its winning streak by defeating its host, Las Palmas, 3-2.

This is the second win for the Basque club, which is in eighth place (7 points), after two losses against Barcelona 1-2 and Atletico 0-1, and a draw with Getafe 1-1.

Barcelona continues to shine

In another match, Barcelona continued its strong results with its new coach Hans Flick, and swept away its host Girona, the surprise of last season, with four goals to one.

Barcelona entered the match strongly, scoring two goals through its rising star and winger, Lamine Jamal, who scored two goals in the 30th and 37th minutes. In the 47th minute, Dani Olmo scored the second goal before Pedri scored the fourth goal in the 64th minute.

In the 80th minute, Stuani scored Girona's only goal.

This is the fifth consecutive victory for Barcelona, achieving a full score (15 points), scoring 17 goals, and conceding only 4 goals.

For its part, Girona suffered its second loss, against two wins and a draw, to freeze its score at 7 points.
