Young man kills his sister in a new domestic violence crime in Ibb Governorate

A young man killed his sister in the city of Ibb (central Yemen), in the latest domestic violence crime witnessed by the governorate under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources said that a young man named (Hani Al-Khawlani) killed his sister this morning in the "Al-Samasir" neighborhood in the old city of Al-Mashnah District.

The sources added that the perpetrator used a sharp instrument in his crime - the motives of which were not immediately known - as he cut her neck in a crime that was a great shock to the residents.

Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, has recently witnessed a significant increase in domestic violence incidents, with dozens of people documented killed and injured in incidents of this type since the beginning of this year.
