Watan Development Foundation distributed emergency shelter materials to the displaced in the camps affected by the floods in Marib.
Director of the Watan Development Foundation, Abdullah Al-Faqih, said, “These materials are an emergency treatment for the displaced in the camps, especially the camps that were severely damaged and suffered great harm and need interventions that are equal to what they were exposed to.”
Watan Development Foundation called on humanitarian organizations and philanthropists to contribute to supporting these displaced and homeless families as they are in dire need of food, shelter and water projects.
Last week, a government report revealed 44 deaths, injuries, and damage to about 20,000 displaced families, as a result of the heavy rains and severe storms that hit Marib Governorate (eastern Yemen) since the beginning of this year.
