CENTCOM: Houthi drone destroyed over Red Sea

The US military announced on Wednesday the destruction of a drone belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
The US Central Command said in a statement on the X platform that its forces had succeeded, during the past 24 hours, in destroying a drone belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis over the Red Sea.
She explained that the plane posed an imminent threat to US forces, coalition forces and commercial ships in the region.
She noted that this action was taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition and commercial vessels.
