The Yemeni government: The Israeli aggression against the city of Hodeidah is a violation of the country’s sovereignty, and we hold the Zionist entity responsible

The Yemeni government denounced in the strongest terms the Zionist entity's aggression and violation of the sovereignty of Yemeni lands, after it targeted Hodeidah Governorate on Saturday, in clear violation of all international laws and norms.

A responsible source held the Zionist entity fully responsible for any repercussions resulting from its air strikes, including the deepening of the humanitarian crisis exacerbated by the Houthi militias with their terrorist attacks on oil installations and international shipping lines, as well as strengthening the position of these militias and their misleading propaganda narratives.

According to Saba Agency, the source renewed his warning to the terrorist Houthi militias against continuing to mortgage the fate of Yemen and its people and throw them into its senseless battles to serve the interests of the Iranian regime and its expansionist project in the region.

The source also warned the Iranian regime and the Zionist entity against any attempt to transform Yemeni lands through rogue militias into an arena for their senseless wars and sabotage projects in the region.

The source called on the Houthi militias to listen to the voice of reason, respond to the will and aspirations of the Yemeni people, give priority to their national interests over any other interests and agendas, not to invite foreign military interventions, engage seriously in the peace process, and stop all forms of violence and military escalation.

The source also called on the international community and the Security Council to assume their responsibilities in order to protect international peace and security, stressing in this context that the only way to achieve this is to support the Yemeni government to complete the extension of its influence over its entire national territory, and implement the resolutions of international legitimacy, especially Resolution 2216.

The Yemeni government renewed its firm and supportive position for the Palestinian people, and in this regard calls on the international community to take all necessary steps to stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, achieve their aspirations for security, stability and a decent life, and establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
