Sana'a: Yemen Youth Net - Special
The Houthi militia continues its security deployment in the capital, Sana'a, and the rest of the cities under its control, while kidnappings continue among those celebrating the anniversary of the glorious September Revolution.
Student sources told Yemen Youth Net that there is an unprecedented Houthi mobilization in front of Sana'a University, Al-Sitteen Street, and the Ring Road, fearing the outbreak of popular celebrations today and tomorrow on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution.
The sources added that the militia deployed security and intelligence elements on and around the university campus and broadcasted intimidating messages among the students in an attempt to prevent any celebratory demonstrations on the occasion.
In this context, the university presidency sent an appeal to the Houthi intelligence service via its Telegram channel, calling on students not to demonstrate and to report any actions against their colleagues.
In another context, the Houthi militia kidnapped lawyer Ali Al-Dhaifani, a member of the Yemeni Bar Association and founder of the Al-Dhaifani Law Firm and Foundation in Sana'a.
Judge Abdul Wahab Qatran said that the Houthi militia kidnapped lawyer Ali Al-Dhaifani.
Al-Dhaifani had sent a report to the Bar Association, in which he said that the Houthi militia investigations in the Al-Sunaina area had summoned him for investigation on charges of celebrating the anniversary of the September 26 Revolution on his personal Facebook page.
Lawyer Al-Dhaifani called on the Yemeni Bar Association to take urgent action to prevent the summonses and illegal kidnappings practiced by the Houthi militia.
The Houthi militia kidnapped dozens in several governorates. Their families announced their kidnapping, while other sources estimate the number of those kidnapped in connection with the September celebrations at hundreds in several governorates.
