The Minister of Information in the Yemeni government stressed that the Houthi militia’s continued trial of journalists released from its detention centers in an exchange deal sponsored by the United Nations is an attempt to thwart the solution to the issue of prisoners and abductees, and a Houthi escalation would undermine peace efforts.

They are released in a prisoner and kidnapped exchange deal.”
Minister Al-Eryani pointed out that "these criminal practices fall within the Houthi militia's efforts to terrorize politicians, journalists, activists and citizens in the areas under its control, and its insistence on continuing the escalation approach, and placing more obstacles to the sincere efforts made by brotherly and friendly countries to calm down and bring peace to Yemen."
Al-Eryani called on the international community, the United Nations, and its special envoy to Yemen to exert real pressure on the terrorist Houthi militia, to respect the exchange agreements, to stop the trial of all kidnapped and forcibly detained persons liberated from its illegal detention centers, and not to use the judiciary as a tool to suppress and liquidate its opponents and terrorize society, and to immediately begin classifying it as a “terrorist organization.” International".
