Taiz.. A carnival and mass public festival celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September Revolution (photos)

Today, Thursday, the city of Taiz witnessed a carnival and a massive public celebration to mark the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution.

A correspondent for "Yemeni Youth Net" said that the celebration, which was held in the middle of Jamal Street, and in which a number of speeches were delivered, witnessed carnival shows in which Taiz University students and school students participated in celebration of the occasion.

The ceremony was attended by Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan and a number of military and security leaders and leaders of political and civil components.

Last night, the city of Taiz witnessed the lighting of the revolution torch, amidst large crowds of citizens who came from various districts of the governorate.

The city's sky was also decorated with fireworks launched from the Cairo Citadel and the heights surrounding the city, which is witnessing widespread popular celebrations.
