Yemen Youth Channel announced its uniqueness in producing the first documentary film that explores parts of the biography of the thinker, political leader, and revolutionary commander, Judge Muhammad Mahmoud Al-Zubairi.
The film, which will be shown by “Yemeni Youth” at 7 pm today, coinciding with the anniversary of the September Revolution, presents parts of those stations and turning points that Abu Al-Ahrar experienced over the course of half a century... during which he sought to uproot the Imami culture in Yemen, and to overthrow the priestly dynastic rule of the Banu Hashim.
The film, which lasts for 54 minutes, reviews chapters from the bright history of Judge Al-Zubayri, who opposed the Imamate through poetry, political work, and journalism, and led the Yemenis to ignite the fuse of the first Arab revolution in February 1948.
The film, prepared and directed by Omar Al-Amqi, monitors the transformations that Al-Zubaidi experienced after witnessing the death of the smile and searching for an exile in Pakistan before settling in Cairo and leading the September 26 Revolution from there.
The film, in which a group of thinkers and historians participated, reveals the mysterious details that led to the martyrdom of the political leader and revolutionary commander Muhammad Mahmoud al-Zubayri on April 1, 1965, and the figures involved in his assassination.
