US Army: Destroys two missile systems, a drone and a Houthi support vehicle in Yemen

The US military announced on Tuesday the destruction of two missile systems, a drone and a support vehicle belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
The US Central Command said in a statement on the X platform that its forces had succeeded, during the past 24 hours, in destroying two Houthi missile systems and one support vehicle in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
"The US Central Command forces also succeeded in destroying a Houthi drone over the Red Sea," she added.
She explained that these systems pose a clear and imminent threat to US forces, coalition forces and commercial ships in the region, noting that these measures are being taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US ships, coalition forces and commercial ships.

Houthi media reported last night that an American-British airstrike had taken place on the Al-Jabana area in the city of Hodeidah (western Yemen), without further details.
