Shabwa.. dead and wounded in an armed attack on a military forces site in Upper Egypt

A number of soldiers were killed and wounded, late on Wednesday evening, in an armed attack on a site of military forces (Shabwa Defense), in the Upper Egypt District in Shabwa Governorate, eastern Yemen.

Informed sources told Yemen Shabab Net, “A group of gunmen believed to belong to Al-Qaeda attacked a site of the Shabwa Defense Forces, in the Al-Musaina area of the Upper Egypt District.”

She added: "The Shabwa Defense Forces clashed with the elements, with various types of light and medium weapons, resulting in the death of three of its soldiers and the wounding of others."

No clarification of the incident was issued by the Shabwa Defense Forces of the Transitional Council, or any other party, at the time of writing the news.
