Alliance of Political Parties: Public awareness of the September 26 Revolution embodies the people’s will to restore the state and protect the republic

The National Alliance of Political Parties and Components said, "The level of public awareness witnessed in all regions of Yemen, especially those under the control of the Houthi militia, reflects the deep-rooted values of the September 26 Revolution and the insistence of Yemenis to continue the struggle to restore the state and eliminate the backward Imamate project."

He added - in a statement on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution - "Popular awareness embodies the will of the Yemeni people to preserve the gains of the revolution and protect the republic and the gains of the struggle of our fathers and grandfathers."

He called on all political forces and components of Yemeni society inside the country to show more national cohesion and not to submit to these arbitrary practices, and to work together to restore the state and overthrow the Houthi coup.

He said: "The sixty-second anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution comes this year, and with it, feelings of pride and honor are renewed in our hearts for the sacrifices of our ancestors and fighters who liberated Yemen from the Imamate priesthood and hateful colonialism, establishing an era of freedom, dignity and justice."

The National Alliance of Parties stressed that "our people's celebration of this immortal anniversary renews the pledge to continue the struggle to achieve the goals of the September Revolution and to be loyal to the struggles of previous generations who sacrificed their lives for the liberation and independence of Yemen."

He explained that "in light of the difficult circumstances that our country is going through, with the continued control of the terrorist Houthi militia supported by Iran over large areas of the country, we find that the challenges are still great for our Yemeni people."

The coalition strongly condemned the criminal practices carried out by the Houthi militia against the Yemeni people, including human rights violations, attacks on civilians, and their systematic attempts to obliterate the Yemeni revolutionary identity.

He said in the statement, "This terrorist group is repeating the practices of the hateful Imamate rule, and aims to erase the traces of the great September Revolution and prevent citizens in the areas under its control from celebrating it, which reveals the extent of the popular isolation it is suffering from."

The National Alliance of Political Parties and Components renewed its pledge to continue the struggle to defend the republican system and the achievements of the September and October revolutions, and to restore the Yemeni state and reform its institutions to achieve the aspirations of our Yemeni people for freedom, dignity and justice.
