US Army: Houthi missile system destroyed in Yemen

The US military announced the destruction of a missile system belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that its forces succeeded in destroying a missile system in an area under Houthi control in Yemen during the past 24 hours.
"This system has been shown to pose a clear and imminent threat to US and coalition forces and commercial shipping in the region," she added.
She noted that this action was taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for US, coalition and commercial vessels.
