Islah: The Republic and Unity Remain, and Al Houthi is the First Enemy of the Yemenis

The Yemeni Islah Party confirmed that the Republic and Yemeni unity will remain, and that the first enemy of the Yemenis is the Houthis, who overthrew the Republic by force of arms in an attempt to restore the defunct Imamate regime.

This came in a statement by the head of the media department of the Islah Party, Ali Al-Jaradi, in a special interview on the "Yemeni Youth" channel on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the party's founding.

Al-Jaradi stated that the Islah Party’s celebration of its founding anniversary today comes from considering it a tool of the republic and unity, as the most important unified political party in the country, and a celebration of pluralism and political and civil work.

Al-Jaradi stressed that the legitimate government, with all its components, imposes its influence on more than 80% of the national geography.

He pointed out that all the forces that make up the legitimacy agree, including the Transitional Council, that the Houthis are an existential threat at this moment.

He pointed out that the Islah Party and all political forces understand the southern issue as part of the Yemeni issue as a whole, as discussions are taking place around it within the framework of discussions to resolve the Yemeni crisis, indicating that the southern issue is a major and essential key to resolving the Yemeni issue in general.

Al-Jaradi stressed that the republic will remain and will remain, and national unity, in its geographical concept within the framework of federal Yemen according to the outcomes of the national dialogue, will remain and will remain as long as the Yemenis remain.

He added: If there is any problem in any part of the country, the solution to it is through in-depth political dialogue and reaching a solution that satisfies everyone, except for those who carried out a coup against the Republic of Yemen using weapons to try to bring back priesthood, racism and imamate again and impose them on the Yemenis by force of arms. This is the danger that we all see now, and the rest of the issues can be discussed and an agreement can be reached.

Last Friday, the Yemeni Islah Party celebrated the 34th anniversary of its founding, coinciding with early celebrations of the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution of 1962, which overthrew the defunct Imamate regime, which the Houthi militia has been desperately trying to restore since its ill-fated coup in 2014 and its imposition by force in the areas it occupies in the north and west of the country.
