Today, Sunday, an artistic and rhetorical celebration was held in Ma'rib Governorate on the occasion of the 61st National Day of the Glorious October 14 Revolution, organized by the Aden Region Resistance Command in Ma'rib Governorate, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith, and the Inspector General of the Armed Forces, Major General Adel Al-Qamari.
At the ceremony, Abu Al-Ghaith and Al-Qamari conveyed to the attendees the greetings and congratulations of the political leadership, represented by the President and members of the Presidential Leadership Council, on the Yemeni Revolution holidays of September 26, October 14, and November 30.
In their speeches, they spoke about the importance of celebrating the 61st National Day of the glorious October 14 Revolution and what it represents in terms of connotations and meanings that tell generations about the extent of the sacrifices and heroisms written by the martyrs of the October 14 Revolution, which culminated in achieving the great victory over the colonial powers and the evacuation of the last British soldier on November 30, 1967, and culminated in achieving national unity on May 22, 1990.
They stressed that the October 14 Revolution is a natural extension of the September 26 Revolution, and together they represented the most important events that changed the lives of Yemenis and changed the course of history in the south of the country in particular, stressing the importance of the blessed revolution is not limited to being the starting point for liberation from colonialism and its remnants only, but its historical importance lies in the fact that it produced a state with a unified identity.
Abu Al-Ghaith and Al-Qamari considered the return of the Imamate project, which showed its ugly face represented by the terrorist Houthi militia affiliated with Iran, which turned against the state institutions and the democratic approach, to be the real danger that wants to return the people to ignorance, poverty and injustice, and to sow racial and regional conflicts and tear apart the social fabric of the sons of one people.
They also stressed that the Houthi militia will not back down from its terrorist behavior and ideology and its threat to international navigation in the Red Sea except through military action and its defeat to stop its harm to the Yemenis, the state's navigation and neighboring countries, reiterating that the armed forces are always and forever in high readiness to protect the republic and the gains of the revolution.
For their part, the Deputy Director of the College of Aviation and Air Defense, Major General Mohsen Al-Bakri, the Commander of the Resistance of Aden Region in Marib, Qaid Al-Muthil, and the Undersecretary of Abyan Governorate, Abdulaziz Al-Hamza, reviewed the most prominent struggle roles, heroism and sacrifices presented by the free revolutionaries during the beginnings of the revolution and its various stages, and how they wrote with their blood the most wonderful epics of courage and sacrifice until they reached the great day of victory.
They stressed that the heroism and sacrifices of the free martyrs, leaders of the October 14 Revolution, led by the martyr Rajih bin Ghaleb Labouza, will remain a beacon for the free people of Yemen to follow, and they will follow its glow so that their blood will mix in defending the republic and unity against the remnants of the Imamate and the remnants of colonialism in the north and south and in every part of Yemen.
A speech about women was also given at the ceremony by Duaa Sawan, in which she pointed out the importance of the October 14 Revolution in the lives of Yemenis and the achievements and gains it has achieved, moving the people from the eras of darkness and tyranny to the realms of justice, freedom and progress.
