In support of Gaza, a Japanese man has been demonstrating alone for months in the streets of Tokyo 

The name of the young Japanese man, Yusuke Furusawa, has been linked to the Palestinian issue since Israel began its aggression against the Gaza Strip 10 months ago.

Despite the long duration of the war, the activist is still demonstrating alone in the streets of the Japanese capital, Tokyo, in support of the Gaza Strip and to spread awareness about the Palestinian issue.

Furusawa usually publishes his protests on an ongoing basis through his account on the “X” platform, which documents his ongoing demonstrations alone, where he raises banners with slogans in support of Palestine and Gaza, such as “Free Palestine,” “Stop genocide in Gaza,” and “Ceasefire Now.”

In his conversation with the "Sanad" agency affiliated with the Al Jazeera network, Furusawa said that he began working for Gaza since the seventh of last October, that is, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The Japanese young man added that he is doing this because he believes that it is his duty to demonstrate for humanity, saying, "I want to protect humanity and human rights. I hate racism."

He continued, "I will continue to demonstrate until Palestine is liberated, and I will continue to raise my voice to protect human dignity and rights."

Furusawa explained that he usually chooses to demonstrate near train stations, where they are crowded with passers-by and travelers, to spread awareness among the largest possible number of people about the Palestinian issue and the war on the Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip entered its tenth month by this August, and since then hundreds of thousands of demonstrations have taken place in various countries of the world to demand that the Israeli occupation stop the war of genocide and massacres in the besieged Strip.

Some supporters of the Palestinian cause and those denouncing the genocidal war waged by Israel against the people of the Gaza Strip usually publish their pictures with the young man.
