Ben Mubarak's visit to the Ministry of Justice
Prime Minister Ahmed bin Mubarak today directed the Ministry of Justice to consider the legislative reforms required to facilitate access to justice for all citizens.
During his visit to the Ministry's General Office in the interim capital, Aden, he stressed that the bet is on the Ministry of Justice and its cadres to achieve the government's vision to accomplish its five priorities, foremost of which is combating corruption and enhancing transparency and accountability.
According to Saba News Agency, the Prime Minister was briefed on the work of a number of departments, general administrations and sectors affiliated with the ministry, and the efforts they are making to contribute to supporting the achievement of justice and enhancing the role and independence of the judiciary.
Bin Mubarak inspected the workflow at the Public Services and Documentation Office, and met with a number of transaction owners who conveyed to him their impressions of their experience in transactions and obtaining the services provided by the Ministry to citizens in the areas of documentation and others.
In this regard, the Prime Minister urged the employees of the Public Services Office to quickly complete citizens’ transactions and pay attention to their issues.
The Prime Minister also toured the sectors, departments and divisions of the Ministry, and listened to an explanation from the Minister of Justice, Judge Badr Al-Ardah, officials and employees about the progress of work in the sectors of courts, documentation, the technical office, information technology and others.
He was briefed on the plans that have been accomplished within the framework of the organizational and developmental efforts of the Ministry’s activities and the technical support it provides to the courts, in addition to the work automation project and the steps that have been achieved in this regard.
