Nafez Houthi robs land belonging to the Endowments in Ibb Governorate

Local sources reported that an influential member of the Houthi terrorist militia robbed land belonging to the Endowments in the city of Ibb (central Yemen).

The sources said that an influential Houthi came from outside the governorate, sought the help of gunmen, and robbed a plot of land belonging to the Endowments near the campus of Ibb University, in Al-Dhahar District (the center of the governorate), and forcibly occupied it.

The sources added that militia members affiliated with the leader opened fire on citizens who intercepted the looting and chased others, amid collusion by the concerned authorities in the Houthi militia, which did nothing about the incident despite the people’s reports.

The sources indicated that the land that was burgled is located south of the Ibb University campus in the Al-Salbah area of Al-Dhahar District, and its area is 65 square meters, with an estimated value in the billions.

The properties and lands of endowments in the governorate are exposed to attacks and robberies from time to time, by Houthi leaders or influential people loyal to the militia from inside and outside the governorate.
