Transitional Council forces in Aden
Soldiers affiliated with the UAE-backed Transitional Council forces assaulted fishermen and confiscated the fish that was on board their boat on one of the beaches of the interim capital, Aden, in southern Yemen.
Local sources said that soldiers belonging to the so-called Storm Forces led by Ossan Al-Anshli attacked fishermen from Aden on Friday in an area between Al-Buraiqa and Al-Tawahi.
The sources added that the soldiers brandished their weapons at the fishermen and took them to Tawahi, noting that the boat owner was imprisoned and the quantity of fish that was on board the fishermen's boat was confiscated.
Activists also circulated a video of one of the fishermen, describing the incident of the attack on them, and saying that the soldiers confiscated their catch, estimated at around ten million.
