The Ministry of Civil Service and Insurance announced today, Thursday, that next Monday is an official holiday on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution.

According to Saba News Agency, the Ministry indicated that the determination of the leave comes based on Law No. (2) of 2000 regarding official holidays and vacations.

The Ministries of Civil Service and Information extended their warmest congratulations to the political leadership and all the Yemeni people on this glorious occasion.

The Yemeni people's celebrations of the October 14, 1963 revolution in the south of the country are a practical embodiment of national unity and a common destiny, as it was one year after the elimination of the Imamate on September 26, 1962 in the north of the country.

It is also an epic struggle for freedom and dignity and a translation of a long series of popular uprisings that began with the landing of the colonizer's forces in the port of Aden on January 19, 1839, and continued for 129 years, culminating in the achievement of complete independence on November 30, 1967.
