The Ministerial Committee reviews the progress of security work in Marib
On Sunday, a committee from the Ministry of Interior reviewed the progress of security performance in Ma'rib Governorate, the difficulties and obstacles facing the work process, and ways to overcome them in a way that contributes to enhancing security stability in the governorate.
The committee listened to a brief explanation from the Director General of Marib Police, Major General Yahya Ali Hamid, about the efforts of the security services in the governorate, the level of discipline in the service departments, and the most prominent difficulties that hinder the progress of security work, which contributes to raising the level of work administratively and financially and enhancing security and stability.
According to Saba News Agency, the ministerial committee was also briefed on the level of job discipline and workflow in the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority branch in Ma'rib Governorate.
I learned from the Director General of the Marib branch of the Authority, Brigadier General Mohammed Abdul Rabbo Majidi, about the level of services provided to citizens and the extent to which they obtain identification documents and other civil documents issued by the Authority.
She also reviewed the achievements made regarding the smart electronic card project, the successes and shortcomings that affect the workflow in the branches and centers in the governorate, and the extent of their readiness to launch work on the electronic civil registry.
The Chairman of the Committee, Major General Abdul Majeed Al Ameri, stressed the leadership’s keenness on joint efforts between the Ministry’s sectors and the security and police departments to improve work performance to the best possible level to serve citizens and raise the level of performance of the administrative staff and oversight in the financial and administrative aspects.
Major General Al-Amiri also inspected the workflow at the Civil Defense Authority branch in Marib Governorate, and discussed with the branch director, Colonel Abdullah Al-Shaflout, the level of performance and the difficulties they face. He stressed the ministry’s keenness to find the necessary solutions to what would contribute to raising the level of performance and providing the best services.
