A campaign affiliated with the terrorist Houthi militia stormed a town in Dhamar Governorate, central Yemen, and kidnapped dozens of citizens.

Local sources said that yesterday, Saturday, the Houthi militia carried out an armed campaign against the village of Al-Zour in Al-Hadda District in Dhamar Governorate, and stormed dozens of citizens.

The sources added that the Houthi campaign stormed the village and kidnapped about 40 of its residents, including students from the school, and opened fire randomly on citizens, attacked their farms, and looted their property.

The sources indicated that, as a result of these violations, a number of villagers exchanged fire with the Houthi campaign, which led to the killing of a militia member and the injury of 2 villagers.

According to the sources, the campaign came after a dispute between the people of the village of Al-Zour - Thuban and the people of the village of Nashal - Nasra over disputed lands that are under the control of the militia that sided with the other party.

The people of the village held the governor of the Houthi militia in Dhamar, the leader Muhammad Al-Bukhaiti, responsible for igniting strife between the people of the two regions and his bias in favor of a party in a disputed issue.
