The Minister of Information and Culture, Muammar Al-Eryani, warned of the dangers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard moving, months ago, thousands of its cross-border sectarian militias of Pakistani and Afghan nationalities in batches to areas under the force of the control of the Houthi militia.

This comes in conjunction with the announcement by the Pakistani authorities of the loss of 50,000 of its citizens over the past years after their arrival in Iraq to visit religious shrines and holy places.

Al-Eryani explained in a press statement that this dangerous step comes in light of the escalation of piracy and terrorist attacks launched by the Houthi militia in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden, and targets the safety of international shipping and the free flow of global trade.

Al-Eryani pointed out that Al-Masirah Channel, affiliated with the Houthi militia, published interviews with a number of Pakistani nationals who participated in its marches in the kidnapped capital, Sana’a, and revealed that they were heading to Yemen to engage in what they called “jihad” in support of Gaza.

He wondered, "Which is closer to the Gaza Strip: Lebanon and Syria, which share common borders with Palestine, or Iraq, which is separated from it (300 km), or Yemen, which is (2,000 km) away?"

He explained that these clear paradoxes reveal once again that the Iranian regime and its militias have not and will not at any stage pose a real threat to the Israeli entity, and that they are using the Palestine issue merely as a cover for mobilization and mobilization operations, and as a tool to implement their destructive, expansionist policies and threaten the security and stability of the Arab countries.

Al-Eryani called for unifying international efforts to confront the systematic terrorism practiced by the Tehran regime, for which the countries and peoples of the region and the world are paying the price, calling on the international community to quickly classify the Houthi militia as a “global terrorist organization.”
