Lahj.. The death of a leader in the Giants Brigades as a result of his injury following the explosion of an explosive device in the Al-Fayyoush area

A military commander in the Giants Brigades died on Saturday evening as a result of his injuries following the explosion of an explosive device in Lahj Governorate, southern Yemen.

Local sources told "Yemen Shabab Net" that the leader of the 2nd Giants Brigade, Captain Sultan Bajash Al-Otari, died as a result of his injuries following the explosion of an explosive device planted in his private car, in the Al-Fayyoush area of the Tibn Balhaj District.

Earlier today, sources reported that Al-Otri was injured along with members of his family as a result of an explosion that caused the car to completely burn.

A member of the Presidential Command Council, Commander of the Southern Giants Brigades, Abdul Rahman Al-Muharami, mourned the officer in the 2nd Giants Division, Captain Sultan Al-Subaihi, and stressed that he was an example of discipline, courage, and bravery in the fields of honor and heroism, and carrying out the tasks assigned to him by his leadership.

Al-Muharrami also stressed in the obituary statement that such cowardly terrorist acts will not deter the heroes of the Giants Forces from performing their national duty in confronting the enemy, enhancing security and stability, and fighting extremist organizations and anyone who targets the public tranquility of citizens.

The Commander of the Giants Brigades vowed to pursue those who committed this cowardly terrorist act, arrest them, and bring them to the competent authorities. So that they receive their deterrent punishment, and support the security services in drying up the sources of terrorism and its organizations.

It is noteworthy that Al-Otri is a battalion commander in the 2nd Giants Brigade, and is leading the security campaign against smuggling networks in the Al-Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara districts.
