In his speech on Sunday, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, the leader of the coup militia, ignored what he had promised last year, under the name of “radical changes.”
Despite the length of his speech, which lasted for more than an hour, as usual, during which he traveled east and west, he completely ignored the subject of the situation in the areas under his control, and limited his speech to what he called the “internal situation,” which did not exceed two minutes, by indicating that the “path of change” is ongoing, without referring to the radical changes.
In this regard, special sources confirmed that Abdulmalik Al-Houthi’s speech indicates his failure to implement what he promised to do, which was to make radical changes during a speech he gave last year on the same occasion, stressing that the reality is greater than what Abdulmalik Al-Houthi expects.
The sources indicated that the wealth accumulated by the militia for about ten years caused a conflict between the wings, as it is feared that the severity of the differences between these wings will escalate to the point of fighting.
The sources confirmed to "Yemeni Youth Net" that the militia leader no longer fears only the party wing loyal to him in Sana'a, but also fears the escalation of the conflict between the wings within the group itself, as each wing believes that the change is targeting it.
She noted that the disputes escalated not only at the level of governors but also at the level of undersecretaries, most of whom were appointed after 2015 and are from Hashemite families, as it is feared that they will escalate against any change that affects them.
The sources confirmed that the situation indicates a shift from radical changes to governmental amendments only, and they did not rule out that the Houthis’ disregard is a wait until after September 26, as they fear demonstrations against them in Sana’a and other governorates.
The sources indicated that the features of the abject failure of the changes emerged when the government formation was announced, which was announced in a hurry so that the anniversary of the birth would not come and what was promised was not implemented, stressing that some names did not fully assume their work, and some of them have not had their signatures approved in the bank until today as a result of the differences between the Houthi wings.
