Taiz.. A massive march confirms the resistance option to restore the state and end the Houthi coup

Today, Saturday, the city of Taiz witnessed a mass festival and a massive march, celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution.

A correspondent for "Yemeni Youth Net" said that tens of thousands of people from Taiz governorate gathered this morning in Jamal Street in the center of Taiz city, in a large public festival called for by the Supreme Council of Resistance and the political and social components in the governorate, in celebration of the glorious September Revolution.

He added, "Speeches were delivered at the event, which was attended by political and social leaders, stressing the importance of the September Revolution in consolidating the foundations of the republican system and overthrowing the defunct Imamate regime, and denouncing the violations committed by the Houthi militia against those celebrating the occasion in areas under its control."

The celebrants raised slogans hailing the September Revolution and its free heroes, and called for continuing on their path to liberate the country from the Houthi coup.

The celebrants called on the Presidential Council to provide the necessary support to the National Army and the Popular Resistance to complete the liberation of Taiz Governorate and the entire national territory.

The celebrants stressed the importance of national alignment and unifying ranks in confronting the new imamate represented by the terrorist Houthi militia.

In his speech before the roaring crowds, the head of the Popular Resistance Council in Taiz Governorate, Sheikh Marsh Abdul Jalil Al-Fahidi, conveyed the greetings of the head of the Supreme Council of the Popular Resistance, Sheikh Hamoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, to the gathered masses, stressing the continuation of the resistance action and the renewal of its means and mechanisms, embodying the goals of the immortal September Revolution.

Al-Fahidi said that the free people of Yemen overthrew the racist, oppressive regime on September 26, 1962, forever, and replaced it with a just republican regime under which all Yemenis are equal, and their slogan is “There is no master but the people.”

The statement of the march, delivered by the member of the Popular Resistance Council, Mr. Saeed Sultan, stressed the firm belief that the path to restoring the state and national dignity passes only through the continuation of the revolution and adopting the path of valiant resistance without compromise or compromise.

The statement of the march called on all our people and national forces to work as one team, one hand, and one heart to fight the historic liberation battle, support and back the national army, and transform all popular tools into continuous resistance that ignites a fire against the hateful priestly imamate and achieves the great victory for our people.

The statement also called on the legitimate government and the Presidential Leadership Council to sense the historical national responsibility in achieving the liberation battle for the sake of the people and the homeland.

The statement stressed that the Houthi group does not believe in peace, and that war is a belief and a religion for them, and that any peace that is not based on the people’s conditions and stems from the three internationally and popularly approved references is an absurd peace, a waste of time, and is rejected because it is against the interests and stability of the nation.

This comes as part of a series of celebrations taking place in the governorate to mark the 62nd anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution.
