Forces affiliated with the UAE-backed Transitional Council stormed the home of a human rights activist in the interim capital, Aden, in the south of the country.

Human rights activist Hamda Mabrouk Hassan Ali said that forces affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council from the Abu Khattab Battalion and other security forces from the Tawahi District Police raided her house and her sister's house in the Tawahi District.

Human rights activist Hamda explained in a video clip she posted on social media that the reason for the raid was due to her following up on the case of her brother who was "treacherously" killed and her other brother who was forcibly disappeared by the Transitional Forces in Aden.

She confirmed that the storming of her sister's house was done without any legal basis, asking: What crime did I commit? Is it because I am following up on the case of my brother who was treacherously killed in front of people, or am I following up on the case of our house that was looted in Aden? Or the case of my kidnapped brother and we do not know anything about him?

She accused the Transitional Forces of expelling her from Aden due to the threats she was exposed to as a result of following up on the case of her murdered and forcibly disappeared brother, stressing that she was doing her work in accordance with the law.

She said that the so-called Abu Khattab battalion are murderers and terrorists, wondering who protects these murderers? Is there justice or manhood? She confirmed that her brother's killers are in Ma'alla and have not been arrested while the battalions are pursuing her.
