Informed sources revealed the tragic fate of the kidnapped Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, who was kidnapped by the transitional forces in the interim capital, Aden.

The sources told "Yemen Shabab" that the Aden police intend to issue a statement regarding the liquidation of Al-Jadani, even though his body has not been found yet, about a month after he was kidnapped by transitional members of the Counter-Terrorism Service.

It confirmed that Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council and head of the so-called Transitional Council, issued a decision to arrest the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Yusran Al-Maqtari, and appoint a leader known as Abu Khattab in his place.

Last Wednesday, Aden police confirmed that they had discovered the first lines of the crime of kidnapping “Al-Jadani,” which confirms the responsibility of the so-called “Samih Aidours Al-Nurji.”

The police explained in a statement that they had arrested Al-Nurji, and he was then released under the guarantee of the Aden Counter-Terrorism Commander, Yusran Al-Maqtari, and in the presence of the governor’s agent, Abdul Raouf Al-Saqqaf.

Multiple sources indicate that Al-Nurji was subsequently smuggled out of the city of Aden, while Al-Maqtari fled to the United Arab Emirates, the main supporter of these forces.

Al-Jaadani is the commander of an air defense battalion in the Yemeni army. He was kidnapped last June 12 by armed elements in the city of Technology in Aden, while the tribes of Abyan are still mobilizing to demand that his fate be revealed and that those responsible for the crime be held accountable.
