Al Mahrah.. Security services arrest suspects for withdrawing 69 thousand Saudi riyals through hacking

Security authorities in Al Mahrah Governorate, eastern Yemen, said on Saturday that they had arrested two people accused of withdrawing 69,000 Saudi riyals using electronic hacking.

According to what was published by the Security Media Center affiliated with the Ministry of Interior, the Mahra Police arrested the accused (B. F. M. Q.) 26 years old, (M. M. M.) 18 years old, (A. M. A. H.) 55 years old, and (Y. A. M. A.) 26 years old.

According to the center, the defendants hacked the account of (M, A, S), 35 years old, and withdrew sums of money estimated at 69 thousand Saudi riyals.

The security services also seized from the defendants 2 laptops, 3 mobile phones, 3 flash drives, an iPad, and a Yemen Mobile internet modem.

The security authorities stated that the accused are currently detained pending investigation, in preparation for their transfer to the competent authorities.
