The Masam Mine Clearance Project in Yemen announced on Sunday that its field teams removed 1,390 mines and unexploded ordnance during the past week.
He added in a statement to his media center that the project teams removed 1,390 landmines and unexploded ordnance last week, including five anti-personnel mines, 47 anti-tank mines, 1,337 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device.
The statement explained that the total removed since the beginning of this July amounted to 4,230 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices.
With this statistic, the total number of explosive materials removed since the launch of the project at the end of June 2018 has increased to 453,298 explosive materials.
