Ibb.. Houthi militia kidnaps media activist and conference leader attacks their practices

The Houthi militia kidnapped a media activist in Ibb Governorate, coinciding with an attack launched by a conference leader in the governorate against the backdrop of the militia's mobilization to celebrate the birth of the Prophet.

Local media reported that the Houthi militia kidnapped activist Radad Saeed Al-Hudhaifi from his home in Ibb yesterday, as a result of his writings on social media and his criticism of the militia’s practices.

She confirmed that Houthi militia elements came to Al-Huthaify's house on board vehicles belonging to the Central Security Forces, which are under the control of the militia, and transferred him to their prisons in the city of Ibb, the capital of the governorate.

It is noteworthy that Al-Huthaify's kidnapping came days after a Houthi campaign targeting a number of activists due to their writings and posts on social media.

This comes in conjunction with an attack launched by the head of the General People's Congress branch in the governorate, Aqil Hazam Fadel, against the backdrop of the Houthi practices in preparation for the Prophet's birthday, mocking their crowds, which he said "disrupted people's interests."
